Local ride requests, without a big app
JonGo is a small, local ride project you can open in your browser, log in with your phone, and request a ride when drivers are available.
Note: JonGo is an experimental, limited availability project (not an official taxi company). Response and availability are not guaranteed.

Made for local use
Built with Dalton / North Georgia in mind as a side project, focused on clear communication and straightforward pickups when drivers are online.
About JonGo Rides
JonGo Rides started as a personal project to make it easier for people to request local rides without dealing with a bunch of extra screens or a big app store download. Everything runs in the browser.
- Sign up with your phone number and a one-time text code.
- Stay signed in on your phone unless you log out.
- See an estimated fare based on distance before you confirm your request.
- Ride status updates (pending, accepted, on the way, completed) inside the app.
This is a personal/local service being tested, not a large company or official taxi service.
How it works now
- Go to the app: open jongorides.com on your phone.
- Verify your phone: enter your number and confirm the SMS code. Once verified, you’ll be logged in.
- Request a ride: choose your pickup and drop-off locations and payment preference (for example: cash or other options shown in the app).
- Wait for a driver: if a driver is online and able to take the ride, the status will update as they accept and head your way.
- Follow the status: you can see when the ride is pending, accepted, in progress, or completed.
Availability depends on whether drivers are online. If it shows busy or you don’t get a response, it may just mean nobody is active at that moment.

FAQ
Is JonGo an official taxi or rideshare company?
No. JonGo is a small, personal/local project currently being tested. Availability is limited and nothing is guaranteed. Think of it more as a local tool that may help you find a ride when drivers are online, not a full-scale service.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is kept simple: a base fee plus a per-mile rate, with a reasonable minimum. Inside the app you’ll see an estimated fare based on distance before you confirm your request.
How do I log in or sign up?
Go to jongorides.com, enter your phone number, and use the verification code sent by SMS. After that, you’ll stay logged in on that device until you manually sign out or clear your cookies.
How do I request a ride?
From inside the app, choose your pickup and drop-off locations and confirm your request. If a driver is available and accepts, you’ll see status updates as they head toward you and complete the ride.
Do I need an account or password?
You don’t need a traditional username/password account. Your phone number and verification code are used to identify you and keep your access simple.
How do I pay?
Payment options (for example, cash or other methods) are agreed with the driver and shown in the app. No card is required on this page. Since this is a local project, payment options may change over time.
Will I get text messages?
Yes. Your phone number is used both to log in (via verification code) and to send ride-related updates and confirmations. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop messages by following the instructions in the texts.
Can I cancel a ride?
You can usually cancel before the driver is on the way. Once the driver has started heading to you, a reasonable cancellation expectation or fee may apply, but this may vary while the project is being tested.
Is JonGo available right now?
Check the availability chip at the top of this page. If it shows Available, drivers are online. If it shows Busy, drivers may be offline or currently unavailable. You can also simply open jongorides.com and see if you can place a request.
Where can I read the Terms and Privacy Policy?
Basic terms and privacy information are currently hosted on the rider site: Terms and Privacy Policy. These may be updated or moved as the project evolves.
